Spiders On Drugs are a new brand of cannabis-infused cream which are marketed to provide relief from symptoms of the disease.
According to their website, the product is “not for medicinal use”.
This comes after the company had to register as a new drug after it was named in a new strain of the infamous cannabis strain.
A representative of Spiders told La Repubblica that “the product was created to provide a treatment for those who suffer from Crohn’s disease.
The company did not want to be associated with the name of the strain.”
They added that the product was not intended to be sold as a medical treatment.
Mancini has repeatedly denied the allegations, stating that the company was “very sorry” and was “working to clear it up”.
The Italian is also facing allegations of corruption from former employees.
According of an article in Il Giornale, a former Spiders employee allegedly asked for money from the company’s former chairman in exchange for helping him escape prosecution.
The man, who was also accused of corruption, has denied the claims.
According to a report by Corriere della Sera, the investigation has so far revealed that “several former employees of Spiers Pharma have been arrested in connection with the scandal”.
The Italian has been accused of taking millions of euros from the Spiders company.
The former CEO, Andrea De Simone, has also been arrested and charged with fraud, embezzlement and money laundering.
The Italian was sentenced to six years in prison in May and will be released in 2019.
